The boxwood collection, designed by Alexandra Rhode, aspires to a feeling of natural, uncomplicated luxury.
Geometric shapes and settings in 14 Karat Gold-filled and 925 Sterling Silver are the foundation for pieces that are both modern and effortless in their beauty. Centered in delicate chains or wire settings, boxwood uses select spiritual stones in an understated and sophisticated way: Here they accentuate the clean modern look rather than demand attention for themselves. Worn individually or layered, Boxwood reflects a woman’s self-assured confidence in a beautiful and personal way.
Alexandra Rhode earned a degree in engineering in Germany and later enrolled in graphic art and fashion studies at Santa Monica College and Otis College of Art & Design in California. Since establishing her jewelry label in Los Angeles in 2014, Alexandra Rhode has been at the forefront of a new wave of minimalist designers. Alexandra admits that “working simply” is something that, as a German jeweler, she always aspired to. “It is a story at the heart of Germany’s engineering and design community – everybody there feels it and recognizes the need to simplify. Understatement is part of our German design legacy after all."
